3 Weeks Old

It feels just like yesterday that I was writing my first blog post and now my sweet baby boy is three weeks old. They're not lying when they say time will fly by. He has changed so much since I had him and he is already loaded with personality. He loves to be awake and smile at 4 am, which makes waking up that early not seem so bad.

We've been meaning to get some photos done for him and we finally got around to getting them done. Here are a few of the good pictures that we got!

Happy Fall, y'all!

A big thank you to Ben Williams for doing his pictures! TBW Photography

To top off a great week, my dad surprised us with a visit this weekend! It was so good to have Paw Paw around this week and I know Noah loves him so much. They were the best of friends this weekend and I'm so happy that Paw Paw got to spend some more time with Noah. Here are some photos from their visit.

The best of friends, watching a movie together.

Last but not least, I really hope he likes football when he's older. We couldn't help but take pictures of him in his new Saints outfit.

Wish we would have tucked his ear in the hat.

Thanks for checking up on us!
Have a great week,
Lauren and Noah

Our First Week

"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for."

Everyone told me that the first couple of nights at home would be difficult. They were right. It was hard to adjust to waking up every three hours, but with the help of my gracious mom, I think we finally have a good routine.

This week we had our first check up at the Pediatrician's office and everything checked out to be normal. His umbilical cord finally fell off so it was time for his first bath! We have been waiting for the cute pictures of his first bath since the pregnancy, so here are the pictures from his first real bath.

Not sure how he feels about the water...
He made this face a lot, but never cried!

His first bath was a success.

We have had plenty of visitors this week, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for more! Auntie Brooke finally had some time off of work come to see him!
and his Auntie Alicia came to see him as well.

His Gammy decided she wanted to take a photo shoot of him yesterday.

I'm really curious as to what he was thinking in this one.
Clean and fuzzy hair

Come see us!

Love always,

Happy Birthday Noah!

On October 4th, 2013 Noah Michael Pace was born. We went into labor at Wesley Medical Center at around 5:30 in the morning, thrilled with excitement! The moment we had waited for was finally here. After two hours of anticipation, we finally got into a hospital room, I changed my gown and put my game face on.
Time seemed to be passing pretty quickly during labor, but by no means was it a fast process. I had debated on getting an epidural for the longest time, but after feeling those strong contractions, I caved in. Advice for those future pregnant women--get an epidural! It was a world of difference. I was finally fully dilated at about 7:30 that night. The nurses pushed all of these tables into the room and it finally hit me that I was about to be a mom. Finally at about 8:00, it was time to start pushing. It was such a beautiful process that words truly cannot describe it. Noah Michael was born at 9:30 pm, at 8 lbs 4 ounces, 21 1/2 inches long. I'm truly blessed to have a healthy baby boy and my life has already changed so much for the better.

His Aunties waited anxiously in the waiting room during delivery!
Love my friends, thank yall so much for coming to see me and be there for Noah!
Aunt Lynn, Aunt Lana, and Granny made it just in time for delivery all the way from Texas

Paw Paw and Gammy love their first grandson

 Granny's first Great Grandson
Mrs. Gwen from Dillard's left the Oak Grove vs. Petal game to make it just in time for delivery, talk about customer service!

 One day old

We got to come home that following Sunday, October 6th.
Life has been crazy so I apologize on the delay from the blog! Will post more as things happen. I am so lucky and blessed to have this bundle of joy. I couldn't have asked for a better baby.

Thank you all for your love!
