Happy Two Months!

It seriously feels like I just took his one month old pictures last week. But this little nugget is two months old today! He is 11 lbs and 7 oz and 23 5/8 inches long. I am completely blessed with this little angel.
I'm lucky to say that he only cries whenever he's:
1. Hungry
2. Wet
3. Whenever he's done eating.
(Piggy would eat forever if I let him!)

This month he has definitely developed his signature smile and has found out how to pull my hair (which I hear only gets worse!).

So handsome
Noah finally got to meet his Uncle Kaleb for the first time on Thanksgiving break! Here is Kalebs first look at baby Noah.

 Thankful for my family.

 Pulling hair, always.
We hope everyone had as good of a Thanksgiving as we did!

Happy One Month Birthday!

It feels just like yesterday that I was headed to the hospital to have him. I can't believe it's already been a month since he was born.

So much love for this little man.

Happy Fall, Y'all!

Noah's first holiday was this Halloween. Through the past four weeks, I've been brainstorming on what to dress him up as for his first Halloween. I wanted it to be good. We went to the stores to look at all of their costumes, but they all were too big for a brand new baby and they just didn't seem good enough. Gammy bought a skeleton onesie that was cute and we decided he would just be a skeleton for this Halloween. October 31st came around and I still wasn't satisfied with just a skeleton, so that day I came across this idea.

Dr. Evil and Mini Me

His puckered lips make the picture, I think. I had just taken out the pacifier in this picture.

For those of you who don't know who Dr. Evil and Mini Me are, they are from the Austin Powers movies and this is what they really look like.

I could have used a balding cap as the finishing touch, but for a last minute costume, I was pleased with this. We did get accepted for a costume contest and if you want to vote for us, all you have to do is give us five stars by clicking on the fifth star above our picture at this website http://www.costume-works.com/dr_evil_and_mini_me.html

We made a ton of goodie bags for trick or treaters, but the weather was so bad that we only had about six kids come to our door. Noah was exhausted from the eventful holiday that he slept the whole evening... imagine that.

This week, his great grandmother is here to visit!! A whole week with this sweet lady and I couldn't be more thrilled. Already so much love and she just got here.

Everything has been going great and he is such a well behaved baby. He loves to cuddle, kick, and pull my hair... and it's only been a month. I look forward to every day that I have with him and I already can't imagine life without him.

Peace and blessings,
Lauren and Noah

3 Weeks Old

It feels just like yesterday that I was writing my first blog post and now my sweet baby boy is three weeks old. They're not lying when they say time will fly by. He has changed so much since I had him and he is already loaded with personality. He loves to be awake and smile at 4 am, which makes waking up that early not seem so bad.

We've been meaning to get some photos done for him and we finally got around to getting them done. Here are a few of the good pictures that we got!

Happy Fall, y'all!

A big thank you to Ben Williams for doing his pictures! TBW Photography

To top off a great week, my dad surprised us with a visit this weekend! It was so good to have Paw Paw around this week and I know Noah loves him so much. They were the best of friends this weekend and I'm so happy that Paw Paw got to spend some more time with Noah. Here are some photos from their visit.

The best of friends, watching a movie together.

Last but not least, I really hope he likes football when he's older. We couldn't help but take pictures of him in his new Saints outfit.

Wish we would have tucked his ear in the hat.

Thanks for checking up on us!
Have a great week,
Lauren and Noah

Our First Week

"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for."

Everyone told me that the first couple of nights at home would be difficult. They were right. It was hard to adjust to waking up every three hours, but with the help of my gracious mom, I think we finally have a good routine.

This week we had our first check up at the Pediatrician's office and everything checked out to be normal. His umbilical cord finally fell off so it was time for his first bath! We have been waiting for the cute pictures of his first bath since the pregnancy, so here are the pictures from his first real bath.

Not sure how he feels about the water...
He made this face a lot, but never cried!

 Secretly liking the bath

His first bath was a success.

We have had plenty of visitors this week, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for more! Auntie Brooke finally had some time off of work come to see him!
and his Auntie Alicia came to see him as well.

His Gammy decided she wanted to take a photo shoot of him yesterday.

I'm really curious as to what he was thinking in this one.
Clean and fuzzy hair

Come see us!

Love always,
