I can't believe this is the last monthly post before Noah turns one.... but don't worry, I'm saving all the sappy stuff for the One year old post.
This has definitely been the most energetic month of his existence. He is constantly going, going, going. "Busy, Busy!" as we like to say.
He loves to sneak away from you
We don't like these chips very much, but he sure does look good in pink
He has a new found love for the grass
He has found his hair and constantly touches it
He got a stylish new backpack for school
But he didn't like wearing it that much because it made crawling difficult
He might be angry with us later for this... but he stayed perfectly still when we painted his toenails...
So pretty, right? We left it on until his teacher noticed.... Sorry, Noah!
He still enjoys long baths
He enjoys pushing his classmates around in the wagon
Still obsessed with the crinkly paper at the doctors offices
Poor babe had his first real sickness this month.
We participate on Go Gold Fridays
And we dress up for game days
We learned how to clap our hands
He's not walking yet, but it is coming any day now.
He can stand alone for about 20 seconds at the longest.
He gives himself a pep talk and builds up courage...
Then he moves his top half forward...
And dives straight into you
I've only seen him take one step alone, but he will get there eventually.
He is all about some shugas.
He loves to snuggle with Elmo, and by snuggle I mean lay on top of.
We like to match sometimes
He has a new found love for pillows
And now I know why they call them "ankle biters."
I'm not sure where he got this from, but any time your ankle or foot is exposed and looks available, there is no doubt that he will come and bite it.
Happy Eleven Months, baby boy!!!
Love always,
Lauren and Noah
