Happy Eight Months, Noah!

A lot has happened this month! I forgot to post in last months that he has started saying "Mama," so that is exciting!

Here are some more pictures from his photo shoot last month

We celebrated my first Mother's day

He sure has great taste for someone so young

The water is finally warm enough to get into so we've been hitting the pool a lot

He looks like a toddler here

His teeth are FINALLY coming in!!

We've been brushing them with the finger brush and he enjoys the squeaking noise it makes against his gums

4 years ago I begged mom to buy these pajamas for my future little girl because I thought they were too cute to pass up.... but Noah is not a little girl, but I still tried them on him because they were his size

Noah had his first road trip to Texas this month!
He slept in the car most of the time

He got to meet Mam, his great grandmother for the first time

Where she put Paps hat on him

Which I think he really liked

And then Pap's boots, too

Four generations

He loves it outside

And he saw his first horse

Noah and his grandparents

And we saw Momma Tom and Daddy Tom, Noah's great great grandparents

Four generations on the other side

Granny and her two great grandchildren

& Noah's new favorite puppy, Riley

Noah's still the same sweet, rolypoly, butterball.. but now he has teeth and he is moving all over the place. I give it a week until he starts crawling.

He always smushes his face up against the pack n play net

He is very good at showing his emotions

His hair is starting to curl

Mom got him an Elmo and he grabbed it and the first thing Elmo said was... "That's too tight"

Loves to lay back and relax

Starting to pull up on things

Cheeks for days

This was a long blog, but thanks for checking in on Noah!

Happy Eight Months, darlin!!

(pink and green, just for your wedding month, MLH!!)

SEVEN MONTHS OLD!

I often feel like I am sitting with a celebrity wherever we go. For a seven month old, he has got some serious social skills. It doesn't matter where we are, he is always looking for someone new to socialize with.

As far as milestones go, there aren't any new ones since he conquered so many last month. He is working on crawling, but we are in no hurry to start that!!

He saw the Easter bunny for the first time

Was intrigued by his first Easter basket

Mad because I wanted to take a picture, this is his Really, Mom? face.

Everything has to go in his mouth.

And he has to touch everything

But he was excited that he could now wear white shorts

He loves to go on lunch dates

Bath time is still his favorite part of the day

Matching paw paw

We had some photos taken of Noah by April and Paul Russell, soon there will be more to share but for right now this picture is to hold us over!! It is incredible!

Happy Seven Months, Noah!!

Love Always,

Happy Six Months, Noah!

These last six months have flown by, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. This past month has been a huge month for milestones!

After lots of encouragement, the lazy butt finally decided he wanted to roll over! We've been trying to get him to do this for quite some time now, but every time we put him on his belly, he decided he would get comfortable and go to sleep.

But one day he was lying on his back like normal and started rolling side to side, trying to roll over.

Then he took his jungle gym down with him.

And every time he would get close to rolling over, we'd start yelling with excitement and the noise would scare him right back to where he started.

But with perseverance.. He did it!

Now he rolls all the time and he has also learned to sit up on his own!

With great posture, I might add

He loves sitting in his high chair (thanks again to Amber and Kris!!)
He was in awe the first time he sat in it
"This is mine???"

And he holds his own sippy cup

He enjoys watching us eat.. literally follows every bite we take go into our mouths.

Loves to look at himself in mirrors

Had his first carousel ride

Loves to bang notes on the piano

Loves to go read books outside

And examine every detail of the book

His hair has grown in a lot on the top, slacking a bit in the back from where he always lays down, but he's got a pretty sweet rat tail going on that I'll try to braid when it gets long enough (HA)

He loved getting to see some of his favorite aunts this past weekend

Some of my favorite people

Although he is more rambunctious than ever before, he is still that same sweet and happy baby.

Happy Six Months, Noah!!

Thank you again to all of you for your continuous love and support. We are so grateful to have met people like you.

Love always,
Lauren and Noah
